| Advisor provides the following information in addition to the standard reporting of performance metrics for UNIX and Linux servers.
- Average CPU utilization compared with threshold (warning and alarm) values
- Proportion of time when the CPU utilization is higher than recommended thresholds
- Variability of CPU usage over the period of analysis
- Users and commands contributing most to the CPU utilization
- Correlation between user activity and system activity (I/O rates, CPU Waiting for I/O)
- Paging rates compared with thresholds
- Swapping rates compared with thresholds
- Proportion of time when paging or swapping rates are too high
- Read and Write Cache Hit ratios compared with thresholds
- Proportion of time when Cache Hit ratios are less than good
- Identification of busiest I/O devices, and analysis of their performance in terms of response time and queuing time
- Analysis of CPU time spent waiting for I/O completion
- Analysis of System Uptime and Outages
